Oncology Symposium will be Friday, Oct. 10
Baptist Hospital East will host its 31st annual Topics in Medical Oncology Symposium, "Surviving the Cancer Journey" from 7:45 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at The Olmsted, located on the Masonic Home campus, 3701 Frankfort Ave., in Louisville.
Sessions are: "Gene/Environmental Interaction and Reginal Threat," David J. Tollerud, MD, MPH; "Cracking the Metabolic Code," James B. LaValle, RPh, CCN, MS, ND; "Tobacco Harm Reduction," Brad K. Rodu, DDS; "Gene Expression and Disease Implications," Daniel C. Scullin Jr., MD; and "Taking Control of Lifestyle Choices," Jamie L. Studts, PhD.
Baptist East designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category I Credits™. The Kentucky Board of Nursing approves this program for 6.6 contact hours.
