The Rehabilitation program provides many specialized services to adults who have been disabled by an illness or injury:

• Amputee Clinic to help patients with lower limb amputations learn how to walk again.
• Baptist Hospital East Home Health Agency to provide rehabilitative services to children and adults at home as often as seven days a week.
• Cardiac Rehabilitation Program to help patients who have experienced a heart attack, angioplasty, coronary artery bypass graft, valve replacement surgery or suffer from angina develop a heart healthy lifestyle.
• Lymphedema Clinic to help patients suffering from lymphedema (chronic swelling).
• Multiple Sclerosis Center for individuals with MS.
• Muscular Dystrophy Clinic to provide total care for patients with MD, as well as other neuromuscular diseases.
• Occupational Therapy to help individuals achieve their highest level of independence in daily living skills after an injury or illness.
• Physical Therapy services specializing on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
• Post-Polio Syndrome Clinic to provide comprehensive care to people suffering from the late effects of poliomyelitis.
• Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program to help patients with pulmonary disease breathe easier and improve quality of life through education and an individually-structured exercise program.

Education and support programs include:

• Brain Injury Support Group, a monthly support group for people with brain injuries, as well as family members and friends.
• Stroke Club, a monthly support group for people who have experienced a stroke, as well as their family members and friends.
• Stroke Education Series, a six-part stroke education series for patients and families.
