The Man to Man - Louisville support group for prostate cancer survivors offers support and information to men living with prostate cancer. Meetings are held the second Saturday of the month September through May at 10 a.m. on the second floor of the hospital's Education Center. Each meeting includes a presentation on some aspect of prostate cancer by a physician or other health care professional. After the presentation, men can join in a "rap" session which allows them to share coping strategies and concerns. Wives are welcome to attend the information session and afterward, have the opportunity to meet with each other for a session of their own. Both sessions are led by oncology nurses.
