Patient survey - Pain well controlled during stay
The graph at the link below illustrates responses to the following Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) question, "Pain well controlled during stay," as identified by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services).
The question reads, “During this hospital stay, how often was your pain well controlled?” The possible answers are “Never”, “Sometimes”, “Usually” and “Always.” The score is defined as the percent of patients who answer “Always.”
In the graph at this link, the score of the patients at Baptist Healthcare System, along with separate data from each of our hospitals, surveyed in the most recent quarter who answered “Always” is available.
We strive to attain the highest score possible on this measure.
