Wireless internet

The Baptist Hospital East Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) Network allows users to connect wirelessly throughout the hospital. Using the free wireless network requires: a laptop or handheld with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless capability. Once a device is wireless-enabled, users will need to set the SSID (or network identifier) to "Baptist Guest." You will also need a standard Internet-ready browser on any operating system. No additional software is required. However, personal firewall software, which is not provided by Baptist East, should be installed on the device prior to accessing the Wi-Fi network.
