Prostate cancer treatment options to be explored March 18

Radiation Oncologist Ben M. Birkhead, MD, will discuss treatment options for newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients, providing objective information that may help men make thoughtful and informed decisions.

The discussion will be informal and there will be ample time for questions.

Participants should bring information about their PSA scores, Gleason score from their biopsy and general information about their health and family history to make the discussion more meaningful.

The session will be at 8 a.m. Friday, March 18 at the Baptist East/Milestone Wellness Center, 750 Cypress Station Drive near the Mall St. Matthews in the first-floor meeting rooms near the Center Café. There is no cost to attend.
